I continued to serve in the Royal Australian Signals Corps as a Communications Supervisor and subsequently as a Manager Information Systems particularly within Special Forces at 152 Signal Squadron.

I have ventured on other deployments since my return from UNTAC.   These include INTERFET in East Timor in 1999/2000 and to the Middle East in 2001 and again in 2003.

Maca at Camp RhinoI discharged from the Army in Perth on Sunday the 14th March 2004 after 24 years of service in uniform and than on Monday the 15th March 2004 I started work in civilians at the same location as a Defence Contractor providing IS Support to the in-barracks networks.

I later worked for the Australian Public Service at the same location as the Team Leader and resigned on the 7th March 2007 and I have just recently started work as an IT Consultant with   in West Perth.

I have three children who keep me very busy as a part time taxi driver and as a full time father and when I do have some spare time I like to watch the mighty “Brisbane Lions” or spending time with my wife Claire.

Cambodia was one of the many great experiences I have had during my Army career.   I hope to hear from some of you UNTAC Vet’s in the near future through the medium of this web site.
