Brad
Draper was a linie back in Cambodia. He got in contact with me
Feb 2007 and wanted to let everyone know what he is up too. Some
of the photos are from Jenkos webpage - couldn't ask permission as
his doesn't answer his emails.
Heres what Brad sent me..
I've
got a Martial Arts and self defence academy now, running full time
with around 150 students and starting to branch out into the corporate
sector. I'm the head instructor there with 12 assistants. I've
even created my own style - a combination of freestyle karate with
traditional japanese shotokan karate and also a korean form of
jujitsu called hapkido. I'm also now doing some training with world
champion Sam Greco doing full contact ring karate and "no
holds barred" fighting.
The next step for this year will be cage fighting
(Aussie version of UFC) which I'm really looking forward to as
I can put ALL the differant styles together and really see if they
work! - plus i have a head like a half sucked asprin anyway so
i figure it wont change my apperance to much:)
Been married now for 7 years and have 3 kids.....fuckin ugly but
what do you do :)
3 boys! Do you believe that shit? The missus wants to try for a
girl but i told her if she was a Muslim....she would be hailed
a fuckin hero by now! :)
Well
overdue for a sip mate, i usually go to Y & J'S ANZAC
Day but since that awesome 10yr anniversary, the faces (especially
linies) are few and far between, quite frankly I'm sick of drinking
with techs and cooks!
General is the only real regular, I usually go
to the Dawn service, march, am paralytic by lunchtime and off to
the casino to see how long I last before I get kicked out or loose
all my money.
The
missus wants me to go to Watsonia this year as last year i jumped
on the wrong train, fell asleep and woke up in Frankston! (I live
in Bundoora) :)
Dennis Baker mentioned he goes to the
Dawn service at Simpson Barracks, he's been for the last few years
and reckon its pretty good. Dawn service, then ORs mess,
then SGTs Mess, then off to the Watsonia RSL to put the last
alcoholic nail in the coffin :)
I'm still the same old Drapes, good sence of humor,
top bloke, great root and extremely humble :)
